Experience all the festivities, family and friendship of an open platform irish dance competition, one completely open to all irish dancers right here in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
The Unicorn Feis WIDA Melbourne Open is open to irish dancers from any organisation at all or independent dancers and it’s your chance for feedback from a former world champion dancer, now adjudicator. These amazing opportunities are rare indeed in Australia!

Solo Dances: Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, Single Jig, Hornpipe, Treble Jig, Traditional Set Dance
2 Hand / 3 Hand
Dancers can dance up to 8 solo dances plus their ceili and one Premiership or Championship.

As we’re only 10-15minutes from Melbourne’s Docklands or CBD precincts, you can stay in “the city” as Melbournians call it, and then come out to the Feis in Altona North.
Altona North is home to Altona Gate Shopping Centre, as well as Borrock Square Shopping Centre and a Discount chemist and library.
The venue is also only a stone’s throw from Altona Beach and from Williamstown Beach another beautiful beach, as well as the Williamstown Foreshore on the other side of Point Gellibrand with it’s vibrant cafes, stores and pubs, so try to get down to have a wander if you can!
